Claude Codex Black Edition ("CBE", "the extension", "we") is a standalone Visual Studio Code extension published by Trenton Tompkins. This policy explains what data the extension and this website handle.

What the extension stores

CBE is self-contained and runs locally inside your VS Code installation. Your API keys, model selections, and skin preferences are stored in your local configuration file on your own machine. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to those keys.

Third-party AI providers

When you send a message, your prompt and any attachments are transmitted directly from your machine to the AI provider you have selected (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google, Azure, or your own local Ollama instance). Those providers process the data under their own privacy policies. CBE does not proxy or retain that traffic.

Voice features

Speech-to-text and text-to-speech run either entirely on your machine (local Whisper, WebSpeech) or against the provider you choose (ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Anthropic). Audio is sent directly to that provider and is not stored by CBE.

This website

This marketing site is a static set of pages. It does not set tracking cookies, run analytics, or collect personal information. Standard web-server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) may be retained by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
